We don't sensationalise, moralisе, or make promises the science doesn't support. We also don't pretend that quitting is easy — but we do believe that understanding what is actually happening in your brain and body makes it meaningfully more manageable.

Our editorial approach is straightforward: cite the research, acknowledge uncertainty where it exists, and write for adults who want real information rather than motivational filler.
